Dirty Martini
6 ounces of freezing-cold plain vodka or Absolute Peppar see note
1 teaspoon of vermouth
6 picholine olives stuffed with crumbled blue cheese
Toasted almond slivers
Toothpicks
- Pour vodka into a well-chilled shaker and let stand for 30 seconds. Secure lid.
- While waiting, drop vermouth into 2 frozen martini glasses, swirl the vermouth around the glasses and then pour it out.
- Shake the shaker vigorously, followed by swirling it a few times. Strain freezing vodka into glasses.
- Insert an almond sliver into each stuffed olive and spear 3 per toothpick.
- Gently slide them into the glass.
